What if I can not start the car?
- To unlock the wheel using a mechanical key, move it left and right until the contact turns on. For a Bluetooth key, move the key case away from electronic devices, and ensure the key is inside the vehicle with all doors closed.
- When starting an automatic transmission, ensure all doors are closed, push the brake pedal, and make sure the gear shift knob is in P or N. Then, turn the key or push start depending on the car's equipment.
- For robotized transmission, close all doors, press and hold the brake pedal, ensure the gear shift knob is in N, and then turn the key or push start depending on the car's equipment.
- When starting a manual transmission, ensure all doors are closed, push and hold the clutch pedal, put the gear shift knob in neutral, and then turn the key or push start depending on the car's equipment.
- If the vehicle does not turn on after these actions, check for any messages on the dashboard or instrument panel. If the car battery may have drained, try jump-starting the vehicle instead of trying to push-start it or putting it in gear. These actions could cause significant and costly damage. If the vehicle still won't start, contact technical support for assistance.
