Enhance your car rental experience with a wide range of additional services and products designed for flexibility and convenience. Many car hire extras can be selected directly during the online car rental booking, allowing you to tailor your rental in advance.

Can I add extras at car rental pick-up?

Yes. You can add it either during online booking or at time of pick up in one of ATET offices.

Is a vignette included in car rental in Slovenia?

• Yes. All ATET rental cars include a valid Slovenian vignette at no extra cost.

Cross Border card - permit

Cross-border permit fee: €36.60 (one-time fee)
Required before leaving Slovenia.

You can add it either during online booking or at time of pick up in one of ATET offices.

Important:

• Does NOT include tolls, vignettes, or local regulations
• Driver is responsible for compliance in each country
• If traveling abroad without permission → penalty fee applies.
• Always inform ATET before international travel. Contact for notification in case the renter already has a car rental and decides to travel abroad during the rental period: operativa@atet.si / +386 1 320 82 20.

What happens if I drive abroad without permission?

• A penalty fee of €73.20 (double charge) applies.

Can I take a rental car on a ferry?

• Yes, with an additional fee (€36.60).
• Without prior notice: double fee (€73.20) applies
• You can add it either during online booking or at time of pick up in one of ATET offices.

Can a rental car be delivered to another location?

Yes, car rental delivery is available upon request, including abroad. Pricing:

• up to 10 km: €15 per delivery
• over 10 km: €15 + €0.75 per km

What is the winter package in car rental and is it mandatory?

The winter package includes:

• winter tyres
• anti-freeze fluid
• ice scraper

Mandatory between 15 November and 15 March. Price:

• 5 € / day
• 2.50 € / day for Erasmus students
• maximum 10 days charged
