December is officially here and that only means one thing - Christmas Fairs have begun! We are more than ready for all Crhistmas lights, cookies, mulled wine and snow.

Imagine crisp winter air, the glitter of a thousand candles, steaming mugs of punch, laughter, smiles, roasted chestnuts, the tinkle of glass baubles, and the delicate crafts of numerous artisans.

We have prepared some ideas for the best December trip and festive activities! Read more below.

1. LJUBLJANA (Slovenia)

Of course our capital city will be first on the list. The lights have just been turned on in Ljubljana on November 25th and the City Centre is absolutely beautiful! Take a stroll down the Ljubljanica river and enjoy the view with a cup of hot chocolate/ mulled wine in your hand.

2. KOPER (Slovenia)

Koper has been announcing their light spectacle for quite some time and we can not wait to see all the figures and constellations they have prepared. Their Christmas festivities FANTAZIMA begin with November 26th. It is the perfect trip to the seaside and it only takes 1 hour from Ljubljana. It really is great that Slovenia is such a small country! Don't miss their ice rink in Taverna also!

3. MARIBOR (Slovenia)

Is there anything better than spending cold winter evenings with your friends and family while eating or drinking something delicious? Well you can drive to Maribor and enjoy the view of the city from above.A great place to stop and do some people watching is Luft 360, Ulica Vita Kraigherja 3, 2000 Maribor - it is just a 7 minute drive from our Maribor office.

4. ZAGREB (Croatia)

Croatia's capital sparkles in Advent time! You should defintely drive to Zagreb during holiday season and try to stay on your feet while ice skating on their King Tomislav Square. Try some great local cuisine and enjoy in various planned musical and cultural events.

5. VIENNA (Austria)

Christmas markets in Vienna truly are an old tradition and you can really feel the seasonal joy. You can park your car and then continue to explore various locations where Christmas festivities take place.

6. BUDAPEST (Hungary)

7. SALZBURG (Austria)

The city of Salzburg really looks like it was created for a fairy-tale athmosphere that consumes us all in the most wonderful time of the year! The Christmas markets, Advent concerts and folk customs charm and mesmerize visitors to the magical City of Mozart.

8. GRAZ (Austria)

Only two hour drive from Ljubljana you will find yourselves in the beautiful Graz city where you can admire all romantic lights and cosy up to your loved one while admiring Christmas markets.

9. CHRISTKINDL (Austria)

Chriskindl Market - we can translate that to Baby Jesus Market. The little village of Chriskindl is where you can really feel all the joy of holidays and make sure you won't forget to send your letter to Santa or of course you loved ones!

10. PRAGUE (Chech republic)
