No hassle and helpful car hire
"For COVID-related reasons we booked this car-hire in November 2020 but only picked the car up in May 2022. ATET were proactive once we'd rescheduled the booking in checking that we still intended to make the trip.
After an initial weekend in Ljubljana we took a taxi to ATET's downtown office in the suburbs. No problems with the paperwork and immediately taken to our vehicle, an Opal Crossland that only had around 4,000km on the clock. Impressed that someone came out a second time to check all was well before leaving (I found the driving position too low and had to raise the seat to its highest possible setting).
After a trip to Bled, Salzburg and the Styrian Alps we returned the car at Ljubljana airport. After a bad experience in the past I'm always uneasy about leaving keys at an unmanned desk in the airport but the correct invoice amount was charged to my card.
Note the Slovenian vignette for motorway driving is provided but you have to buy (from a petrol station) and affix to the windscreen an Austrian vignette before crossing the border.
I would definitely use ATET again if we return to Slovenia and can recommend them."
